Since mother nature decided to drop a nice 8 inches of snow on us instead of the inch we originally suppose to get, I figured it would be a good time to finish this chunky lap blanket! It's so squishy and warm and it's olive! I mean, who doesn't love this color?! I've been dying to make another blanket using the Bernat Blanket Yarn ever since I made a blanket for my husband with it, the blanket was a total fail but we won't get into that, haha. This yarn works up quick which is nice when making a blanket. I'm not sure about any of you but if a project is taking too long I lose interest, say I'll finish it later but never do..horrible, I know. All I see over my social media sites lately are pictures of babies and pregnant bellies (Which I love seeing, I'm always so happy for people that are welcoming a new baby into their family). So it's got me in this baby kick, I've been looking all over Pinterest for a baby blanket pattern but couldn't exactly find what i was looking for. I decided to start crocheting and see where it lead to, and i have to say, I'm not disappointed with the result. I have a few other patterns in my mind that i want to bring to life, so hopefully this is the first of a few. Plus i found the CUTEST newborn bear sack that i want to make.
